Well finally slapped my money down and ordered a new Redfire GT coupe. April 13th. Don't know if it will get here before the 06 model... Now the waiting part. I live in Calgary, Canada and really don't want to take a new GT in the middle of winter, might have to wait until next April. Guess I just have to wait and see what the ford gods come up with. Good choice, I am not sure if you will get it before the '06, I guess it really depends on the dealers alotment. You ordered on the same day my pony was born, I am so excited . Good luck!
Congrats! Stay on your dealership's ass about your VIN# and build date. If yours gets a VIN# & build date prior to August 8, 2005 then it will be an '05 (or so I'm told). Good luck and keep us posted!
CHCPMAN, I live in Edmonton and I ordered Feb 28th and I just got my V.I.N today, So from what I read I will be waiting another four weeks. It was a X-Plan order so I don't know if that made it take longer, but my dealer also said he had to cancel a bunch of orders last week. I was one of the last of 3 people at that Dealership to get their orders pulled. No more orders for them, and I drove by today and only saw 2 gts and three sixes on their lot. So you may want to think of trying to locate a car you like, rather than wait, if you want the '05
