Rain-slicked road last night, person in front of me stops short, and you can figure out the rest. I've gotta get in and get an estimate on the work, if it's even worth it. Looks mostly superficial, the impact didn't even reach into my radiator (I hit the truck's hitch), but a previously damaged spot on the frame from a previous owner's collision appears to have finally cracked pretty good (driver's side, right next to the battery). Can something like that be fixed? Welded? My hood got buckled, but the body panels all look pretty good, no creases or warps.

dang,, I dont know if that is worht fixing to the insurance comp. What shape is the rest of the body in, don't let them total it. Unless you just want to get the money from the insurance, buy a roller and throw all your stuff in it.
