We went to Bickford Ford in Snohomish, WA and spent a little cash to put ourselves at number one on the waiting list for a 2006 Cobra. Don't know how much it'll cost, when we'll get it or anything else. But we will get the first one in the neighborhood.
Can you possibly do that? The car is at least a year away from production at a unspecified price, HP, etc.
I was thinking of doing the same thing here. But I would want to see how the Cobra is going to look first before I committ any money into it to buy it. If I don't like it, I will buy the Mustang GT instead.
Easy, he did exactly what he said. He gave the dealer some $ to go on a waiting list. That is a list that says when you can actually order a 2006 Cobra he will be able to order the first one that dealer can get.
