I am going to be putting a new cam in my 01 v6 this summer. Current mods are just a CAI and dual exhaust. There is a chance I would get a supercharger later on so I want the cam to be able to work with one. I am wondering what cam I should get. Also am I better off finding a local shop to do a custom tune for my car or would a SCT chip from www.rpm-mustangs.com work? I will also be putting in gears, t-lock, and probably pulleys(I know these would be useless if I got a supercharger later on). Thanks for any help.

Well, you probably want to get a custom ground cam specific to what you want/have on your car. You'd want a different cam for S/C or N/A. I don't know enough to tell you exactly what you want, but you can probably get advice from whoever you get it from. It's not necessary, but you will get more performance out of it if you have it custom ground for what you have/will have soon, and also, I would say, a custom tune by an expert would be better.

Edit: Summary: I really don't know...
