YOU ADD TWIN TURBOS!?!? Check this out, its un-freaking-real!!! http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=360263&page=1&pp=25
Holycrap what size tires are going to be able to keep that thing on the road. I've been watching vids of Joe's GT on SVTperformance. That thing raped with the stock blower. Now... I think you'd have to be in a plane to beat it.
Yea somehow I doubt the Nitto D/R's we see in the pics are gonna cut it. I would go to some M/T drag Radials, they seem to be what the more serious high horsepower street car guys run. If that doesn't work, he might just try and snag the rears off an NHRA top fuel car? haha
Thanks! I was stuck in a hotel room last week bored out of my mind and decided to make a new sig. As more parts make it onto the car, I'll add more to it.
umm... how FAST did that thing go from 160 to 180?!?! my car is slower fron 20-40 than that thing is from 160-180! thats unfair!
Did a little research on the car. Joe (owner of the car) says it hooks all the way through second. Looks like the chassis work on the Ford GT is just that amazing.
That was with a horrible launch too! I think the last update I saw, he was at 1012rwhp, and wanting to up the boost. http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=281184
Have you seen the saleen? Its a twin turbo setup. Looked very similiar. Except the saleen is a 426, it doesn't make as much horsepower but your kind of limited when your running 11:1 compression. Also anybody else ketch the latest motor trend with the custom Hennennsy (spelling? it was something like that) corvette and the diff sitting on the ground behind the car after they put drag radials on it. lol Guess your not supposed to put good tires on a $170k car. Im sure that helped sales out.
yeah, i was thinking of the corvette they had. Both were twin turbo charged 11:1 all aluminum. The vette was a 426 and the saleen was a 427.
