My father just picked up a mint 99 Cobra convertible at an auction. I was just wondering what it would run in the 1/4. Its stock. Also how can you tell if the 99 "fix" has been done? Thanks
The 1/4 mile can be anywhere from a 13.5 - 14.3 depending on driver, experience, tire condition, traction, shift points, humidity, air, track prep, weight transfer, etc. There is no one right answer for this and there are variances between the seemingly exact same cars. Expect a trap speed of 101 - 104 without any mods done. Call 1-800-FORD-SVT and give them your VIN number. They'll tell you if the fix was done or needed to be done.
