What is a mint '04 Mystic Cobra worth?

I just saw a very low mileage(about 4,000) '04 Mystic Cobra for sale on the side of the highway, and will be calling the owner to get more information tonight. So I need an idea of what a fair price is for this car, as you can see by my signature I have a lightly modded '99 GT currently, however it has some paint problems, and needs a bit of other minor work, has higher miles, etc.

p.s. the car looks all factory stock, even has the ford paper floor mats, with SVT plaque and Mystic certificate, it probably as not been driven lately as the inspection sticker expired last May

4,000 mile car? If he would sell for $27, I would jump all over it. Mystic or not, that would be a good price for an unmolested 4,000 mile '04.

I talked to the owner tonight, he is asking $30,000 fairly firm, car is stock, but has had the paint touched up due to hurricane wind damage in '05, paint was well done at least I did not spot anything. The guy had planned on keeping it as a collector vehicle, but now could use the money, but not desperate to sell.

Did you try to negation with him even though it was his firm offer? Sometimes they give in. I would say 28,500 for it? The paint was touched up.

Firm 30K on a repainted Mystic....HAHAHA what a tool.

IDK how they are where you are from but a 25-30 K mile Mystics go for 28 grand out here. I have seen one with 1000 miles for 34K and one with 9000 miles for 30,500 so 29-30 thousand sound right if the paint was done right with NO indication of a repaint.

Use the hurricane wind in your favor and go 27K

id say high 20's in any case. not 30K$ worthy unless it was at a dealer****.
