I bought my 1998 cobra used from a dealer with a few little mods, one of which is apparently these:

I know that these little wheel well trim pieces are not stock on the 94-98 body, and I'll admit it took me several months to even notice them.

My point is, can anyone tell me where they came from? because I've never seen another 94-98 with these, but they sure look good compared to stock.

they are export mustang fender flares that could be found on I believe Australian models... no longer available from Ford to my knowledge. I had them on my 94 and thought they really add a nice subtle touch to the fender line. I bought these way back in like 96 and also got the 96 style export taillights for my 94 just to make it a little different.

you can see them on my old car in this video..

I put that car together in 96 with all the mods on it... back when a set of real Cobra R's in chrome were the wheel of choice to set off your Stang.. its crazy to look back and realize how long I've been in the Mustang game!
