Consider your shortblock , no sense throwing that kit on a high mile SB , may want to freshen it up . I would recommend:

    *fuel pump - atleast 190lph
    *adjustable fuel pressure regulator
    *24lb injectors
*upgrade mass air meter/calibrate for injectors
*not sure if that kit comes with a throttle body - 70mm
*cold air intake or atleast a K&N
    *fuel pressure guage
*new plugs/wires/cap/rotor (if still running OE)
*new exhaust set up would be nice but not mandatory

thats a good list to start!

The guy above got it covered pretty good. Strongly consider the shortblock, 3 months after my h/c/i I was going right back through it to do the bottom half. Which was not fun at all man.

Again, everything SPEEDYLIFSAVR said is right on. The most important thing to keep in mind is the fuel system, you see tooooo many people who try to get power out of the stock system and it just won't happen. Bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, bigger MAF meter, a maybe a good tune and you should be set.

I would get new lifters then your whole top end is new, the kit does not come with them.

I would highly suggest new lifters. That is the one thing that the kit didn't come with. You can get by without doing the fuel upgrades but you are running on the very edge. What I did do to get by was get a kirbin fuel pressure regulator and bump up the fuel pressure a couple lbs to hold me over till I could get the MAF, injectors and fuel pump. Everything else that was mentioned above is very relevant so keep that in mind.
