I'd run the recommended PSI (32?). You're not really going to get better traction by running less... at least not on the street. You'll just cause them to wear unevenly. U.M.
I ask cause the owner just had the new tires put on today for me and the shop set them at 44psi. I never run the max psi on a tire, but didn't know if the Nittos were different. Thanks

44 psi would wear the centers out of a street tire in no time; I'm guessing it would do the same to a drag radial...
