BEST MODS and EXHAUST FOR SVT COBRA 2004?
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey guys, I'm TOTALLY new to this stuff so help a NEWBIE out. I want the best Exhaust for my SVT. My question is this:

    1. Do I have to go with a "X" Pipe and new CATs? and a CAT back system with mufflers OR

Do I just go with a plain CAT Back system?

    2. What is the better CAT back and "X" Pipe system?

I see that there is a BIG difference in the Price between BORLA, Bassini and MAGNAFLOW, WHY? & which one is better.

One person said to go with the Magna Flow CAT BACK and the Bassini "X" Pipe?? I don'r know who to believe.

What about "TUNERS"? Do I go withg a Predator or a "Super Chip"

What about changing the Thermostat to a 180 degree?

I'm going to keep the STOCK blower pully as I was told this is the first place FORD looks and they will VOID your warranty if you change it and run into problems.

What about the Hurst shifter or STEENDA?

Who has the BEST Prices for these items?

I love the car and it goes like a Bat outa hell!

    Thanks guys for your assistance.

Try using the search button first. Many of your questions have been answered previously.

I know MANY people who would disagree with that statement.... There are complaint threads all over the web about RPMOutlet. I'd say it runs about 50/50, either they are great, or they suck.... I sure read about a lot of unhappy RPMOutlet customers...

Check these before ordering from RPMOutlet...

I am truly shocked to hear that! Not that I don’t believe you, but I was just telling my wife last night I thought they were an excellent example of how a business should be ran. As you can see in my signature I have perches literally a ton of stuff from them on both my Mustangs and 100% of the time things are on time, complete, and customer service has been exceptional! Maybe it’s because I have spent so much money with them?

At any case I’m let down to hear that it isn’t the case with everyone. :(

Yeah.... There are plenty of people out there just like you who have never had a lick of trouble with RPMOutlet, but you can't ignor all the negative posts that are out there either! Funny, seems to be hit and miss with them...

Quick change on the thread.....Uncle meat I b headed up to the drag strip and 1 question. Have u tried pulling the headlight out for more fresh air? I have not read of this as an enhancement and wandered if it would make any diff at all or maybe just throw in too much turbulent air to be worth it? Trying to catch u before I head up to whip the corvette.

This trick does work! How well it works depends on the style of filter you have mated to the MAF. You're not going to get some mega-ram-air effect or anything like that, but it will help bring cooler air into the motor during your run and it can't hurt!
