should I put a boost adj. valve in and get a boost gauge or just advance the timing a bit? i am kinda leaning toward the timing I dea right now so i would have to buy the boost gauge but does the thing that you use to change the timing for the 5.0's work for the 2.3's? because my brother has it for his car. he also has a timing gun thing. so that would be free. or should I just do both?
Both. I bumped the timing up a couple of degrees to 12, and i'm now running 17psi with no detonation.
