I'm installing my BBK CAI tomorrow on my 03 Snake, what type of power gains should I expect?? Anyone know if it will sound any different? The intake on my twin turbo Supra sounds awesome, hopefully it will be similar. Any info??

Isn't the BBK an "In Fender" CAI? If so you won't hear much difference if anything.

The BBK CAI is not a real popular unit as far as the 03/04 Cobra's go... Most tuners will tell you to stay away from CAI's that have a bend before the MAF because it disrupts the laminar airflow and can cause tuning issues. Plus it's made of metal which does retain heat somewhat.

As far as gains you'll feel a noticeable SOTP's difference for sure. The stock intake is one of the big bottlenecks on the 03/04 along with the exhaust.

If I were you I'd return the BBK unit and go for a CAI like the JLT or FIPK II, but that's just a personal opinion....

I had a 92 GT about 6 mustangs ago and it had a BBK CAI on it. That thing would whistle when sucking air in. People didn't ask IF I had a supercharger, they asked WHAT KIND OF supercharger I had. I would tell them none at all, and they didn't believe me unless I raced them and lost. I had a Moroso CAI on my 91 GT I just sold and that one whistled loudly too. Both kits were "in-the-fender" style. I would say you will hear it when you hit the gas lightly, not letting the roar of your blower overpower the whistle of the CAI.
