I have two of the pony wheels from the 94-98 cars, the old 16 inch silver things...well they are just sitting around and I was wondering what would be the best size DR or Slick to put on them for next springs trips to the track?

I would prefer a DR to be honest, but I want something VERY aggresive, no Nittos on these, perhaps the Mickey Thompson DRs??? I goes my next question would then be where do I find the MTs? I have looked at the online retailers I normally look at such as American Muscle, Tire Rack, Discount Tire Direct, and they dont seem to have anything that serious.

    Thanks Guys,
    Jared

There are quite a few tires out there now. The MT Drag Radials have gone 1.30-1.40 in the 60ft. However, I am running them on 18 inch tires, and I will be going back to a set of Hoosiers or ET streets. JIcan't get better than 1.7's on the 18 inch drag radials.

Drag Radial Cars are in the 8's in the 1/4, but I still cant hook past a 1.7.

Depending on your power level, I would go with a real drag tire, and forget the drag radial
