Well, I am in the process of selling my Jeep. 1980 CJ5 $3500 in North Carolina(shameless plug). Anyway, I am allowing myself $1000 of that price for my car. The first things are wheels(ponies I hope), a paint job and a higher flow exhaust. If I shop wisely I might be able to get all that for around $500, leaving me with 500 for other things. I know the first thing people will say is a turbo swap. I am keeping this as an option depending on what I find at my local junk yards or possibly ebay. Assuming I don't want to go turbo, what would you suggest for engines upgrades or mods. I am going to replace the timing belt and build a cold air but other than that I don't really know what I want to do. Any suggestions?

just save it and save up for a turbo (like im doing) just dont put it into a n/a 2.3 its just like trowing money into a hole or if its burnin a hole in the pocket and if you could get nitrous for that much then i would do it because it would just be fun

    just an opinion

Just buy my turbocoupe. Dan P wanted to buy it but never got back to me. So i'll try to sell it again. 86 tc t-3 5spd with new struts, shocks, heatercore[still in box],endlink kit, water pump and thermostat. Also gillis valve and mac air filter. I drive this car during the week. $550 takes it. Anybody let me know. I'll meet halfway. And yes this is in the add section.
