I have about 1,000$ that I would like to invest into my 00' v6 obviously vert mustang. I was thinking of an intake system and dual exhaust. Problem is I see and hear alot of things. Im not exactly sure on any good sites as it seems harder to find v6 mods then the v8 mods:( Anyways I would like to hear peoples advice. What to purchase for a intake system and a new exhaust system. What kind of exhaust and if you know any sites to buy off. So if yall can gimme a hand here id love it. Ive seen some intake and exhaust's but im not sure what I need. Im still learning things so its easier for people to just give me there advice and I can compare what I would like to that:p Also if there are other modificiations that I can possibly do my self which a tool set and no welding hehe. What other bolt on mods are good that might boost the performace of my car. I dont really care if the car sounds bad ass because id rather have it perform badass:p So everyones feedback is defintly welcome. Your advice on intake, exhaust ect i dont really know much and wanna learn all i can. So with that said please help guyz!

I'm a big fan of Flowmaster Exhaust Systems, 40's series. Had em installed on every mustang I have had so far. No problems whatsoever and I love the sound.

First off, put some better gears in the rear. Then do exhaust and pulleys and a cai.

What kind of gears do you recommend and any websites that sell them cheap? O ya I have only 1 tire that grips which is the right tire. How do I solve that problem? I know its like trac-loc but thats GM i thought or something like that. But I want both tires to grip better seeing as I live in New England and would like both tires for better traction and i figured both tires gripping is better for putting the power to the pavement. Im not exactly sure which gears would be better for power and also how do I solve this 1 tire traction problem!

I would go 4.10s or at least some 3.73s. They typically cost anywhere from $150. to a little over $200. You can add a positrac unit to make both tires spin. You can go with Eaton, FRPP, Strange, all of those make good gears. Some auto parts stores even can order you these parts, like AutoZone, Pepboys, Advanced Auto Parts, etc. Is it an automatic? If so, add a Streetfighter torque converter later on. The car will scoot. Make sure to have the computer flashed when you add the gears. I personally use 4.10s and it makes a huge difference on take off from a stop.

In the V6 talk area there is a sticky thread about good places to look for V6 parts. As far as exhaust goes, go to mustangexhaust.com and listen to sound clips. Some sound good and some sound like ***** in my opinion.
