what transmission

    what tranny is stock in a 93 2.3L stang?a friend of mine bought one for a dd and it has some tranny issues and he isnt sure what tranny it is..thanks for any help

    Since you neglected to mention whether it's a stick or auto...the sticks were T5s, autos were A4LD poopers...

    If it has transmission issues he may be looking at a rebuild...the A4LD's are notorious for blowing up even behind a n/a 2.3L. Pretty sad eh...
