whats length is the Kickdown rod?

    does anyone known how long is the kickdown rod that comes up from the trans and bolts to the carb suppose to be on a 1975 Mustang II Mach I

    whats the original length of it?

    i replace my carb with a 600cfm holley and and the rod is too long and the carb before that was a quadrojet
