I know that the gt has a tlock and its a 8.8 axle. i need help. Also can you tell me the advantages and disadvantages if there any. and what year from a gt can i take the gears or axle.

what would be this wheel differential you are referring to? if you are talking about the centre section of the rear axle assembly, then no you cant use a GT one unless you get the whole housing assembly with axles, gears, bearings etc.

yes the centre section where the gears are. They sell me that section for 49.99 and for the whole axle is 84.99. It does not matter if its a gt or v6, the price is the same, so would it be better if i install the gt whole 8.8 axle? is the same price and the gt has a tlock, instead of buying the tlock for the v6, whch it would save me money.

and what mustang years can i take the rear end gearing or the whole axle?

the GT centre section will NOT fit in a V6 housing. you need the housing from a 99-04 GT to be a complete bolt in. if your vehicle has ABS, you need to make sure that the GT axles have the tone rings.
