i'm getting really bad wheel hop on my 97 cobra (only mods are 4.10's and a x-pipe) at the track. I was running newer street tires not slicks or drag radials. Can anyone recommend a fix for this?? Maybe traction bars or a good suspension kit. Car is also a daily driver so I don't want to go nuts. Thanks a lot guys.

Get some DR's and you won't hop...the reason why you are hopping is that you don't have traction...Also some rear control arms will help a lot with the hop...

Control Arms will help significantly with hop, but theres nothing you can do about spinnign from side to side, other than slicks/DR's.

A lot of times on stock suspension cars weak kicker shocks can be the wheel hop culprit.

You mean quad shocks? They were rubbing against my 18x10.5's, so I took them out. I have noticed NO difference in traction/wheel hop whatsoever. They are worthless.

I've cured wheel hop on a stock-suspensioned car by putting the kickers (quad shocks) back on. Your results may vary.

Not me  In fact, the Mustang shop where I took my car to get the 4.10's, one of the technicians has a 10 second Fox Body Mustang, and took his quad shocks off, said it didn't make a damn bit of difference. That was the day I had mine taken off, and sure enough, no difference. Then again, it could be the 295/35/18 Kumho MX's helping out as well. :)

Upper and lowers, problem fixed, as for quad shocks rubbing, just flip them around, i run a 10.5 rim with a 315 tire and no rubbing.
