what are are my options for wheels on my 99 cobra? i thought i read somewhere the you cann't put a deep dish wheel on with the irs rear. I really want to put on fr500 deep dish 10.5 rims in the back of the car but want to make sure the will work before buying them. Also what would be a good tire to run on the rim of that size? thanks
I'm in the same boat, bro. I am thinking about buying chrome '95 Cobra "R" rims. However, I think deep-dish rims would look killer.
It will fit, Its the same IRS and chasse as the 03/04 you will need to get the shved IRS bolt and possibly a wheel spacer if your going with 315's.
Not sure if this will help you but I've used AFS 18x10.5's with Toyo Proxes 295/35/18's. This was before my car was lowered and the bolt was as close as can get but I did not ever have it rub and put at least 15,000 miles on that setup.
