When to order a Mustang Convertible?

    Hi,

    We are planning to order a Mustang Convertible for May 05 delivery - we currently have a car finishing its lease in late April and don’t want to overlap. Our local dealer is pushing us to order (preorder) now. I’d rather wait a bit until pricing settles down but I don’t want to wait until it is too late for Spring delivery. When would you recommend actually placing an order? We are in the Wash DC, Baltimore, Maryland area.

    I ordered my vert a while ago and negotiated a deal of $500 over invoice. There is no reason why you can't order now and negotiate based on invoice and MSRP. When I say invoice and MSRP, I don't mean the numbers; they aren't set yet for the verts. I mean, "I'll only pay $500 over invoice!" or "I'll only pay $500 under MSRP!"
