Initial is 18, all in is 34, I couldn't look at my tach while I was doing this, but it sounded like it was all in by around 3k rpm.
OK. I too have that problem as well. I got around it by purchasing a digital dial-back timing light that allows the user to switch between RPM and timing. This is especially helpful when plotting the dizzy curve. They've come down in price since I bought mine. That dizzy is a nice unit. I think it has 24 deg built in. as did mine. I might still have my graphing info on it. If I do,l I'll send it to you. or at least, share what the points are.
