I need new headlights for my 92. Im surprised the light can even shine out of those foggy, yellowed crap lenses. I see on 50resto.com they have Ford replacements and also "reproduction" ones. Just wondering what are the better quality. I dont want the ****es cracking in one week from hitting a mosquito. Thanks for any input.

Generally, most aftermarket brands of headlights have less quality than OEM lights. You get what you pay for, if you wanna spend 800 dollars on those HID lights, they'll probably be of good quality. I bought KSR aftermarket headlights for I think 230 and the rubber trim piece surrounding the headlight is starting to crack and tear after only one year. Their aftermarket foglights melt fall apart. Don't buy KSR, that's for sure.

Thanks for the feedback. Is it a bad idea to just buy the lenses as oposed to the whole kit that includes the housings and everything? Im just worried that if I take apart my old lights to use the backs they will fall apart. Any input thanks.

I bought the 6 piece heaadlight kit from 50resto when i got my 91 GT painted the first time the shop hit them with water from the hose they fogged over and held water, We took them out and put OEM ford headlights in and have had zero problems when washing it.

i got aftermarket head lights for my stang and i have not had 1 problem with them in 3 years. i have a 94 stang, and i got the 4 pc ulta-clear diamond style lights and i think they light up the road much better than the stock ones did at all even when they were newer and not yellowed.

I had good luck with repro lights I got from Mustangs Unlimited, they had additional venting which was supposed to prevent fogging, etc. They never did, always looked nice for as long as I had them. I never bought a replacement set of Ford lights, so I don't know if they have additional venting now or not, but my OEM's never have.
