Which kit is better aerodynamics wise the cobra R kit or the saleen? I know that big a s s wing probably helps but just want to know for sure.

The R is a track car, so obviously it is designed around the idea of aero dynamics. The hood rises up, and the heat extractor rolls back, to not pick up wind, the front splitter provides downforce along with the big a s s wing as you put it. However, I think the saleen looks better. Bottome line is, get what u want, I am sure you find very few times you actually need all that downforce.

ahhhhh I quite regularly do 130 on the freeway at night so it is kinda important to me....i agree saleen looks better. How big of a differance do you think exists between the two?

even at 130, i got up to like 150 racing my friends ss, and had no sway or anything. As fas aerodynamics, i believe alot of difference exist. I personally have never seen a Saleen race on a track, nor have I heard of the kit helping all that much. To me, the kits people get on these Saleens are a combo of minor aero, and major looks. If doing 130 or so on the freeway is all ure concerned with, you would probably be ok with just that steeda aero wing, it is low profile and looks cool.

So I mean, with a set of lowering springs and that steeda wing, you can do 130 all day long (until you get arrested!) and be ok i would think, but don't take my word for it.

Nazman lives in germany and tops out on the autobahn alot. He uses the Steeda stuff, try asking him about it. And yea, I voted for Cobra R having better aerodynamics.
