    but why?
The SVO comes with good springs already, and best of all they are tuned for the SVO. now if you put GT springs on a LX then you would have an upgrade, but the front will be just slightly to stiff because the 2.3 weighs half the amount.

Rememberm the SVO is a tuned machine. If anything spend a couple hundred and get some 4cyl racing springs. I think H&R makes some for the 2.3 specifically.

Why replace the SVO spring? HMM well maby they are 20 years old and they are sagging more than my grandma's (oh yea this is a fimily site). Just kidding ya flush:) You will hear a lot of opinions on springs scorp. Personally I have run the Eiboch sports and I just put in the motorsport C springs in. The motorsports springs are a nice ride compared the the eiboch. but that is my opinion.

    lol

yeah if you gotta replace the svo springs - Fords "c" springs are great. Got a set on my LX, impressed w/ them. W/ Eibachs it seems you just dunno what you are going to get.

I know the svo springs were made for them, but technology has come a long way. should I also leave the stock exhaust, intercooler, etc. remember, even thought the svo and svt were special cars, there is still plenty to improve. after all, its a 20 year old car. I had the h&r super street springs and bilsteins on my lx and cobra, to bouncy. i also had ford c springs and tokico blues on my lx, to stiff. i have a set of eibachs i'm gonna try on the svo. if I don't like them, i'll try the c springs again if i can find them for cheap. I just put in a b&m shifter. best upgrade yet. stock shifter sucks, no shift stops.

    SVO SPRINGS

I replaced my svo springs with a set of eibach springs #3509 made for the svo . My car sure handles better with these springs .

I'm doing new ball joints on my car sometime this week, Have to take the a-arm out to get them 'pressed in'. While in the process I'm looking into springs for my turbo '88LX.
