white face gauge question

i got the white APC face gauge but im not too crazy about it because of two things ....
(1) the blinkers on top
(2) all the lights on the bottom - CEL, battery, coolant, air bag and so on....
all of these come out looking really blurry n cheap looking so i was thinkin whether i can cut those pieces out n leave them as they were originally while having my speedo, rpm, fuel, volt, temp n oil pres still illuminate or would that break the circuit in the illumination of the rest of the gauges????????

Are they the el glow or reverse glow?

Im pretty sure you can cut the el glow.

ye they are el glow not lik the cobra ones where only the #s illuminate .....
anyone know if i can do this for a fact cause maybe just might kill my gauges =/

Dont do it....I put in bbks white face guages and I ad to go and get a new guage cluster from the junk yard becuse none of my guages worked after. I spoke with a guy at a preformance shop and he said the needles cant be recalibrated after there off becuse there magniticly controled

you can cut both i belive. the reverse glow you can see what parts your not supposed to cut on the back. and the EL glow someone on here cut theirs with no problems
