I just wanted to see what the sidewall and rear of the car looked like, and how you thought they performed? I was running 225/50's to retain a similar overall tire dimensions as a factory rim, but a 245 isnt far off and am about to order tires. Input is appreciated!
sorry I cant post a pic. but they fit perfect and I get more than a few compliments on the stance, even with stock springs....
do they feel sloppy? Or is it just right? I'm used to a lower sidewall and I know it wont be a WHOLE lot higher, but I liked the firm ride and corner carving of a lower sidewall. For the record, I'm about to buy 4 of these. If theres anyone with comments, I'd love to hear em! http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=Traction T/A V BFG Traction T/A
they bulge a little bit, but i like it, looks meaty. Bulge doesnt really look good when you have big rims (18s +) but when your on stock 16s it looks nice.
255/50/16 MT ET Radials. They dead hook with 5500 rpm dumps on the track, so much so that the car was nosing over even with 4.10s. On the street they hook awesome as well. Better than my 275/50/15 nittos ever were.
I have them on the rear of my '88 LX as well. BFG g-force KDWS. Slight bulge but that's because a 7" wheel is about the narrowest a 245 should be mounted on. I have C springs with Koni reds set on soft and the ride is fine (yeah, I said in another thread that Cs were too harsh, but not after I fiddled with my Koni adjustment), confident and fairly comfortable.
