Who's paying over 60K?

    My Parents bought their gt500 in october of last year, for 5k over. But thats in CT where you cant run these cars for more than 6 monthes. so we got very lucky.

    $5K over invoice

    I guy at work just bought one for $5K over invoice here in Michigan (Detroit metro area). I agree with others that with a lot of 2008's coming that the prices will be at MSRP soon, and in a year probably a little below.

    I think another factor that will take the curent luster off the Shelby GT500 pricing bubble will be the introduction of the new King of the Road edition and the Super Snake.

    I spent a little time with Mike Eble last night, the head Ford engineer in charge of the Shelby's, and he thought that the prices will be coming down soon, also.

    I think I will wait a year before getting serious about getting one.

    i got mine for 10k over...i would not have paided any more than that, even if it is the best thing i have ever owned :nice:

    Paid 5k over for a low serial # 2008 GT-500,$1300 in modifications and the KOR will not hang.Nothing done for suspension yet but 550 rwhp is very nice!!!

    any thoughts on how likely an 07 to go for msrp, or nearly so?
    how much over?
