Why has the Forum Search been disabled??

    I tried to do a forum search but the vB bulliten stated that searching has been disabled- has anyone else ran into this problem?? How else can I search for posts that I started???

    for a couple of reasons. first there is some work happening to the message board and the search has been shut off to help that. also, there has been someone hammering the search feature every night trying to overload the server.

    if you need to search you can use google's advanced search and just enter forums.stangnet.com in the domain, or just search in the regular gogle section but include: site:forums.stangnet.com after your search criteria to make it only search this site. And this uses google's cache so it shouldn't affect the server too much.
