My friendss got a 2001 Gt and hes thinking about buying a blower that came off of a newer Lightning. Other than having to have his car tuned what all would it take and would it be worth trying?
just a guess on my part, but i would assume it wouldnt fit up to the intake and heads. The cost of having it fabricated to fit and having a custom intake made would cost more than just buying a s/c designed for an 01 2V. If hes looking to spend that kind of money, tell him to go for a Kenne Bell s/c, amazing tq. across the band and makes 400 rwhp w/ a safe, conservative tune.
