Windshield Wipers

    OK a month ago i was driving down the road during the day and my windshield wipers just go on.. wiped once.. it wasnt even on

    lately its been doing it alot. you swear the knob would be on. it will start going slow than fast then just half way and stop.

    what could be causing this?

    i noticing when i turn my wheel it will kind of start it up. but most of the time its just does it out of the blue


    to stop it i have to turn them on then off

    could be a bare wire in behind your air bag or in the steering colum somewhere or you wiper motor could have a short

    if thats the case id have a ford dealer look at it, probly dont wanna go into the steering column on your own.

    i know a couple people with 99+'s that have this problem sounds like ford needs to get on the recall button
