Hey all. Im all but done on me lil coupe. Im just working on the electrical stuff. (lights mainly)

I finally got alll the signals working (contacts were just mostly corroded) but The front markers, and parking lights; and the brake lights wont work. I think the brakes are a result of my changing the M.C. and tearing up the switch on the brake pedal (right??) and if not where?? if theres no power "upstream", where does it trace back to?? the fuse box by chance??

But I have little Idea about the fronts. Does anyone know what color wire(s) that control the parking/markers??

Thanx very much in advance. My car alarm is going off now, so I gotta bounce.

    Jon.

What year is it? I 'll email you a wiring diagram if you need one, I've got all years.

My 78 has brown-black-green/white wires for the parkers and brown-black wires for the side markers. If you only changed the m/c and not the booster there should be nothing wrong with the brake switch unless it was removed and the wires or switch were damaged.
I would guess to check your fuses and the small ground wires on each side of your rad support.

Okay, sorry it takes so long to get back. Jeff, its a 74 with A/C and was a 2.8/ 4 speed.

Update, I got the Brakes working (broken wire at the switch) and it was really neat to watch them light up for the first time. :D

    Thanx Jeff and LedZ.
