260 or so rwhp throgh a nice stalled auto will get you in the 11's if you have a race weight around 2900lbs or soI would have to see that one to believe it...i dont think 260 is gonna get 11's even on slicks. but thats meCause hotmustang was running 12.7s on drs with 290

I think 260 RWHP can get a 2900 race ready vehicle into the 11's but you also need a nice low DA. It will not do it on a hot humdity day.

Wow, just wow. It doesnt take much time to figure out Bill is full of crap. Just read his straight up BS LS1 kill. I have always taken what he has said with a grain of salt. However the Last thread of the LS1 kill straight up proves he is a laying jack@zz.
A few LS1 buddies saw this and were quite amuzed. Then again they do push over 633, 715 and 995 at the tires, so I cant blame them.

And wtf, I've beat an LS1 before. Why's it so hard to believe this guy did it? What, when you smoke someone bad, you don't go bragging about it like "yeah dude, I beat him by 50 car lengths"? That's all he did, and wanted us to know how hard he was pullin away. Then little bitches got nit-picky. He fixes his story for the whiners, and everyone raises the BS flag. Some immature people around here. A lot of cool people, but some kids too.
And now to officially get this thread back on topic... the motor looks UUUGLY man! But it's a badass car. Clean up under the hood and I'll give you mad props. Nice car

Apparently you didn't read the entire "Beat my first LS1" thread. Bill posted some phone numbers that the guy he raced had dialed using Bill's cell phone. Bill told us "pukes" to call the number to find out. Then he imediately edited his post to remove those phone numbers. Too late, I already had the phone numbers. I called and actually got a hold of the guy Ed who Bill claimed to have beat. Ed told me that he beat Bill every single time they raced. And not surprising at all considering he raced an LS1 with his 250 RWHP 96 Mustang.
Bill straight up LIED to everyone here. That is insulting to every single member's intelligence who wasted their time in reading that thread. Are you actually surprised that he is getting this much heat?
I don't ever remember Bill having an issue with any other member here until you came along. He has never cursed or insulted anyone until you and your work partner called him out and at that point i believe he felt he was under attack and may have lashed out.
What makes you the authority of what is and what isn't correct around here? You have barely been here 4 months and you have started more crap then anyone i can think of in recent memory.
Just like any other person who has a passion for something Bill may tend to exaggerate such as in his thread about beating the LS but its not your job to follow him around and correct him. I think you just like stirring the pot and to me that makes you the TROLL!!!
So what kind of background and knowledge do you actually have with these 2V's etc that you think you can correct all who fail to meet your new standards of Stangnet life.

When I first signed up with this site not only did a moderator, but an admin politely asked me to not get discouraged by billfisher and that he was a known problem causer. I quickly found out how true this was. Don't be so smug.
Go do some reading over on the TCCOA forums and look how he is treated over there. LOL, it's pretty funny actually. Poor bill, he is just a glutton for punishment.
BTW, just the mere fact that you are defending somebody like bill, ain't boding too well for you.
I honestly don't care what anyone here thinks of me, although i am willing to bet atleast 99% of the members will vouch for my judgement and integrity eventhough i need no validation from anyone on an internet forum.
It may look as though i'm sticking up for Bill but honestly i don't care what he posts but when he is harrassed in every thread he makes by the same 3 or 4 people then i think as a long time member here i have the right to speak up.
Maybe you should take a step back and become a member here and fit in and enjoy the forum and let others enjoy your knowledge instead of being an instigator and the thorn in the side to Bill that you currently are.

I have already made quite a few friends on here, some I have already met in person. Nothing, and I mean nothing means more to me than family and friends and there are quite a few people on here who I consider to be good friends. When people come in here and straight up lie to us and just assume that we are all somehow stupid enough to believe their story, that is insulting to my friends, and I will always stand up for those friends whom I have grown to respect. Simple as that. I don't tolerate disrespect to myself or my famaily and friends in everyday life, and I sure as hell won't tolerate it here either. I expect the same from every other respectable member on this website, and there are plenty of them.

Ed Olin is the only one i consulted, but his way to get it in was unacceptable. so i was on my own.
i was always a high revver with 302's and 4.6's before this motor. so i changed with the new reality, that 340 rwtq at 3650 ain't bad compared to 275 at 4500 with my bolt on 4.6. i don't think my car is that fast. in fact i am amazed when it wins. like i said to the dead LS when i walked back to him.... it's just a truck motor. it isn't real impressive at all.but for a 90% stock truck motor it will do.
