Help spread the word!!!!!

I've tried posting the dates there a few times the last couple of days and I keep getting a "posting error" message????
I'll try again and see what happens....

Help spread the words on these "race days" it's all word-of-mouth (or word-of-internet actually)...

The Silence Is Deafening

Nobody out there in StangNet land interested?

We run an OpenComp formatted race, Test & Tunes all day long, Grudge Races, This is an All-Brands event so there'll be some Rice and GM for all to whup-up on :D .......we're trying to see if there's enough interest in having a mobile chassis dyno brought in as well.

The above class with over 32 cars will be contested on a random (all run) basis until the field reaches 32 or less competitors. At the point in which 32 or less competitors is reached the field will be laddered accordingly.

A 32 or less car field is laddered on a sportsman ladder using the final qualifying sheet to determine ladder positions.

DEEP STAGING
Deep staging is permitted, however not advocated. If you plan to Deep Stage it is strongly recommended that you boldly display the words DEEP on all four windows, in plain view of the starter. It is always the driver’s responsibility to stage the vehicle prior to the tree being activated. In any event, the driver must be prepared to leave as soon as the final stage light is lit.

A competitor with the words DEEP displayed on the window is not necessarily obligated to deep stage. As well, the starter is not necessarily obligated to wait on a driver to deep stage, even if the words DEEP are displayed on the vehicle. All drivers must be prepared to leave as soon as the final stage light is lit.

CLASS & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
It is the participant’s responsibility to familiarize oneself with the safety requirements as found in the 2004 IHRA/NHRA rulebooks.
The participant agrees that the participant bears the ultimate responsibility at all times to ensure the safety of participant’s vehicle and to ensure that participant complies with all applicable IHRA/NHRA rules. The participant agrees that participant is in the best position to know about the construction and operation of participant’s vehicle, equipment, and clothing, and whether there has been compliance with all applicable IHRA/NHRA rules.

LANE CHOICE
During qualifying lane choice is up to the drivers. For first round the quicker qualified car will have lane choice, for subsequent rounds the lane choice goes to the competitor who had the better reaction time the previous round, if both drivers had the same reaction time the driver who had it first will have lane choice.

Kelly Pellrine from Digital Racecraft may be on site taking pictures from the event...she could also bring her equipment so pictures can be developed and taken home that day. If you want professional pictures of your car here's you chance...post a reply here or at www.mustangcentral.net under the "official" event thread so we can let her know if it'd be worth her time bringing the equipment!!!!!!
The pics she's taken of our car at the heads-up events we've attended have been great!! The prices are very reasonable as well!!!!

****Updates****

Just cleared this with Mike Klemme, the CFR Manager,
The normal T&T fee at CFR is 20.00 per day...If you come in Friday and pay 40.00 at the gate your good for all three days(Fri-Sat-Sun)...it's like running Friday Night for free!!!
Otherwise it's going to be the normal 20 per day....spectators are 10 per day BTW.

Weather looks fantastic people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also:

Kelly from Digital Racecraft may foresake going to St.Louis (NHRA race looks like wet weather) and come up to our little event instead...she'd be coming out on Sunday if she makes the trip (has a prior committment on Saturday)...if you'd like the chance to be able to purchase a GREAT pic of your car, she takes great event photos... www.digitalracecraft.com ... Go to www.midwestfords.org and put a response under the EVENTS & INFORMATION section within this thread:
