yeah ill post install pics. replacing a mach 460 in an 01

Nice head unit. You shouldn't have any problems switching that out in the '01. Mine went flawlessly. Let me know if you have any problems though and I'll be glad to try and help.

just wondering about the xover settings

there are 2 type r's livin in the trunk on a jbl 1200.1

Well that all depends on your head unit. I hooked my Mach 460 subs into the sub out on my head unit because I don't have any other subs at this point. Then I set the low-pass crossover on the sub out to only deliver bass to the subs. If you have more than one RCA out, you could put your Mach subs on one and your real subs on the other and configure the crossovers separately. That would be ideal because then you can modify your sub volume and Mach volume separately. If you only have the sub out with a crossover on it, you could split it, but any adjustments to volume would affect both. Without knowing more about your head unit, its hard to make a recommendation. Hope that helped and didn't make things more confusing, haha.

did you hook up the dimmer wire to the new head unit? maybe the climate controls and the stock radio were on a common dimmer wire and that needs to be hooked up, or like you said could be the fuse good luck
