so i was just showing my freind my new 315 mickey thompsons and he gave them a good little freindly slap and i heard a rattle. Ive heard the rattle for a few weeks after i got the tr3650 rebuilt. So i gave them a few more firm slaps and its like a tin can rattle every time. I hear a rattle when i drive around as if a can was hitting the exhaust. All these noises showed up after i got it back from the transmission shop. I do not drive the car hard at all. Ive put about 2k very easy miles on the new trans. I also have a clunking slapping sound when i turn left and right under acceleration. Also happends when when i give it about half throttle in first and second gear. I knownthe exhaust is close to touching under the car in a few places. Im replacing the whole exhaust system and longtubes very soon. Have all the pipes and tuner just waiting for a shop opening. But while im under the car id like to fix all the noises.

At the risk of sounding like well... Me...

You need to have gotten underneath of the car and looked, touched, shook, rattled, and rolled, every component you could see and lay hands on the underneath of that car, before creating this thread. :p

I do plan to do that as soon as i can, work schedule is a little rough. I was just wondering if anyone else has heard this before and maybe it was some shot bearings in the rear end

Agreed and Understood! But, the fun of "guess-work" isn't present, then. imp
