I picked up a 88 T-Top about a month ago. I noticed the drivers side window wasn't sitting right. Took the door panel off and I could see the rear door glass retainer was broken and laying in the bottom of the door. Ordered the retainers from LMR and replaced it. Here's the problem-The rectangular window stop that attaches to the retainer. When the window is rolled up the metal hook that is attached to the inside of the door goes between the rectangular window stop and the window glass and pulls against the stop and loosens up the glass retainer bracket and causes it to angle away from window even more not letting the metal hook attached to the door to slide into the window stop like it should be. I thought that I should replace the window guide bushings and started looking at it but the top window guide bushing looks like a C and doesn't go all the way around the window guide like hardtop doors. It is open towards the inside of the door and looks like it's made out of metal. There is a lot of play in the window left to right. I'll post a picture of the window guide bushing this evening when I get home to show what I'm taking about. Attached is a video of the window play. There is a lot more play in it than what the video is showing because the window stop is holding it now. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

@billison I've been following along on your build. Any problems with your windows or know what needs to be replaced?
