I would say to wait for a 2011 gt and spend more or get a 2011 v6 and mod it do some more research and make sure whatever u buy is what u want.
if you are going with it i would say $25000 out the door. tell the dealer that u know the new v6 make 10 hp less and the new gt's have well over 100...
with the engine off put your foot behind the pedal and pull the pedal towards you. then push it back in like normal. that should adjust it. I have never done this because shortly after i got my car i won a cable and adj. quad. at a car show but that is how i have heard to adjust it.
OK did some more searching and on another forum found out that my fuel pump is a variable voltage pump just like the 99-04 and sits in a basket. the pre 97 pump is a constant 12v adjusted by the regulator. so i can get a pump and basket and then remove the pump and swap it out. Does anyone see...
98 Mustang GT Stock pump 190lph.
I am looking at getting a larger fuel pump for my Zex wet kit 125 shot. I have seen info about the SVT focus fuel pump and it is a drop in. Flows at 255 lph. my questions are:
Is it returnless or return because my 98 is return style right?
Also what...
along with all that, what about putting in a higher rearend gear or a 50% overdrive. if they're producing the power make the gears taller, the first thing most people do is a gear swap anyways.
Everything i have seen says the Camaro SS puts out 425 HP i have seen dyno's at 358
Do either of you guys read anything than whats on this site to get your info, tons of other places for info just use google. Not trying to be an a$$ but come on.
read the article instead of making stupid...
OK here's my thoughts on that, i am not sure if every vehicle is suppose to be atleast 35 mpg but last i checked an f-250 will never get that.
Correct me if i am wrong but wasnt it back in the 80's when they had to be at 25 mpg average for the company so to offset the trucks and V8 cars that...
wouldnt have it any other way. its not a daily driver and not on the interstate very much. future plans for a t-56 or tko600. so my overdrive will be a .5 instead of a .68.
Happened to look at my last oil change sticker (i have changed it my self since then) and realized i have only put 3300...
thanks everyone.
Ya PI intake, PI cams, 4.56 motive gears, TFS upper, MAC prochamber, MAC underdrive pullies, H&R SS, steeda tri-ax, MM FL subs. Sitting in garage ZEX wet kit 125 shot.
i had a 4.10 in my car, chucked a ring bolt and went to a 4.56. wouldnt have it any other way. my 2v feels like a beast with it 5th gear pulls as hard as 4th did when i first got my car. the only thing is i wouldnt do much highway driving i think around 70 mph i am at 3000 rpms in 5th.
exactly atleast there car ads, besides take it as a reminder that you will one day pull up next to one and does your car have the nuts to beat it:shrug:.
i would get the srt8, love the way the silver with black stripe ones look, and again if the money is there to buy it, it should be their to mod it, put it on a diet and build a stronger suspension for it then its not like a 2 dr charger.
thanks thats what i needed to know, and thats what we thought it was. only does it at idle and sounds like those old beads that where put on bicycle spokes to make noise.
a friend of mine just had a clutch assy. and flywheel put in today. He got in it and loved the way it felt. then noticed it started chattering or something. he thought it might be the weights on it that he noticed since it is different than stock but still kinda worried. anyone have this with...
