    Gears

I have motive 4.10s on my 04 GT 5 spd. I've had them for almost 10,000 miles now. RPMs @ 70mph is around 2400 for me. Still get minimum 20mpg(usually 22-23 when I can keep my foot out of it). Im pretty sure I could get more mpg out of it, but I drive "very spirited" several times on EVERY...

    Lakewood 50/50 Drag Shocks

So are you saying Lakewood shocks benefit launches no better than stock? Most manufacturers do not seem to go into dyno details with shocks struts. I suppose calling the manufacturer would be the only way to get this info. Just pray you can reach a knowledgeable person.

    Steve Irwin is dead :(

stingrays can get quite large: with serrated barbs up to 10 inches long: though it is VERY rare to be killed by one....a poisonous barb poking a hole in your heart is just dumb facking luck. crikey:(

    Shocked.

I had the opportunity to race an 05 5 speed at the track a month or so ago. I was all stock save for 4.10s....and all i know that he had was either a catback or mufflers(it was definately louder than stock). I won, but he definately had some traction issues...and/or was a poor driver. I got a...

    Buying Gears

I do not have any experience with rpmoutlet, but I have had Motive 4.10's for 7-8000 miles in a 5 speed now with NO ISSUES and no whine. I highly recommend them.:nice:

Too much for stock block? MPH/VT heads cams w/ SC?

I was wondering why there was very little on MPH's website on short/longblocks...guess that explains it. As for DSS, I think ive read enough to stay away and SHM...the resident serial killers sig is enough:rlaugh:

Too much for stock block? MPH/VT heads cams w/ SC?

My original plan was actually VERY similar to what you have done. Very nice ride you have there:nice: Believe me, if there's one thing Texas04silverGT knows, it's women. I know that one day Csledd and I are gonna to get married on top of a mountain, and there's going to be flutes playing...

Too much for stock block? MPH/VT heads cams w/ SC?

Thank you everyone. I think that pretty much answers my question. I think all those mods on the stock block would be putting my car too close to the line. I will either save up for a forged 4.6, or just forget about the heads and cams. Steeda & HotMustard....I would LOVE to take my car to...

Too much for stock block? MPH/VT heads cams w/ SC?

I've been evaluating and re-evaluating and re-re-evaluating just what direction I intend to take my daily-driving/occasional strip GT in regards to hp. Attempting to balance $$$, dreams, and reality, I think I may have decided on what I want to do. But I think I may have decided on a risky...

    SLP Loudmouth II cat-back prices?

Im now looking to complete my exhaust with the SLP LMII.....but the best price Ive found (on google and in mags) is $405 shipped at LMPerformance.com. Partshopper seems to be out of them. Is there anywhere else that is better to buy from/has better prices? Seems like I used to see the LMII...

    Motive gears Vs. FRPP gears

Motive 4.10s have been in for 4000+ miles. Install was straightforward, seems to be of quality construction, no whine, and absolutly zero issues as of yet. They held up to an inexperienced driver at the track for nine passes. Im happy:nice:

[shift knob] too hot to handle, too cold to hold?

I went with the stock 2005-06 stock premium knob on my 04 GT.....I think it goes really well with the silverish center dash and shifter surround. Looks good, good control, comfortable, and doesnt get too hot or too cold;) It looks much better ON the shifter........ The potential for...

    Exhaust modification question.........

Thank you. Ill consider that.:nice: My thinking was if im going to go with LT's and a shorty x eventually, might as well get it up front rather than have to buy a prochamber, then replace it.....SO MANY OPTIONS!!!!!!......i dunno what im gonna do:shrug: :rlaugh:

    Exhaust modification question.........

I know! Their LT's are so stinkin expensive. $720 for SLP LT's $300 for SLP shorty catted X $360 for SLP LMII catback Are the MAC LT's worth a darn? How does the SLP "power-flo" mufflers stack, in terms of power, to the LM & LMII? $350 for MAC LT's $300 for SLP shorty catted X $360...

    Exhaust modification question.........

I see. My problem with aftermarket exhausts is that I LOVE the SLP stuff. I had originally planned on getting the LT's, shorty offroad x, and the LM or LMII catback...(I think I fell in love with the tips!)...probably the loudest setup!:rlaugh: Plus my wife doesnt want me to have another...
