:bs: My flowmaster catback came to life after I added an aftermarket mid-pipe ( O/R Pro-Chamber) on the 97GT I used to have.

I paid $800 parts and labor for a new top with new glass on a 97 GT a few years ago.

Got my FR500's from there. They are flawless. :nice:

Never done it, but I don't see it giving you any major issues.

+1 Never hurts to have an SCT or the like though, so you can change it at will.

It isn't really restrictive, and will catch anything big if it happens to get in there. I would leave it in.

Yep, mine gave me problems on my 97 GT, sometimes tapping or cleaning it helps. Better to just replace it.
