So pretty much what I want to know is what exactly am I going to need to convert to a carb setup? and what can I take out of my car now that I won't need.
I don't know if i can take out the computer, wiring harness, etc.
thanks guys
i dont have the money right now for the stroker.
so i was just going to do the plain old 306.
Now my question is will i be fine with the hyper pistons or should i save up a little bit more and get the forged pistons?
i was thinking of doing a stroker kit but looking in my funds it wasn't practical..
so i'm just going to do a 306.
so i was looking on summit racing and for my year all that shows up are flat top pistons. Now what i need to know is do i have to buy them then have them machined out or can i...
the thing is that i dont know what i need....
thats why i am here so if you could make me a list so i know exactly what to buy to build a successful stroker motor....
ok well that solves that problem...im going with forged.
now i finally said (a choice word) it im going all out 347 stroker....
Now would it be cheaper to buy a kit or to get everything i need individually??
What kind of prices am i looking at for either route i decide?
well originally I wanted to do a stroker kit but I was told by someone that they're not as reliable as à 306....I'm not sure why they told me that so then I was looking up to do a 306,but wasn't sure wat the difference was between the forged and hyper pistons
I am about to start rebuilding my motor and are unsure which pistons I should order.
the motor is going to be n/a, with trickflow heads,b-cam, and most of the usual bolt ons.
wat do you guys think. and its goin to be a daily driver
so today i dissasembled my engine and when i took the heads off i noticed that there is a white haze on the spark plugs and the exhaust valves but its not on the intake valves.
Is this normal????
its like a bright white, and i have never seen that before so if you guys no what this is or...
alright guys thanks so much for the help.
wat i think im going to do is just a 306 w/forged internals and h/c/i, for now and when i get the money in the future to do a stroker i'll stroke it and a buy a new block
alright thanks for the info,
but im getting off topic, i really want to figure out how much hp i'll be pushin on a stock 347/331
(by stock i mean stock heads, cause i need to save a little bit more money to get heads)
im new to mustangs and from what i have heard afr and trickflow are like the best but give me some info on the canfields.
so wat kind of power am i looking at??
i am pulling my motor on friday and i plan on doin a stroker but wat is the difference between a 331 and a 347?
which heads would you go with trick flow or afr 185?
thanks for the help.
so today was a beautiful day and I went to take the stang out, so I took the t-tops off then I get in to start it and nothing. when I turn the key it didn't even crank it just sounded like when power lines spark ...I don't know how to explain it just like a buzzzzz. I'm sorry its just I've never...
