    Tuning Question

I'm wondering if you actually have a "stock" SCT 93 tune, as you have the JLT CAI which requires a tune for the larger MAF housing. It's likely that you have a tune from one of the more common tuners who may have also sold the CAI to the original owner and sent the tune w/ it. If that's the...

    Ford 3V intake manifold

Can you get that intake cover separately? I honestly like that one better than any other I've seen. The intake could be damn nice too at that price. I can't wait to see the dyno numbers on it.

    Problem with B_m_ch_ps

Rob72, Personally attacking me for defending someone I have faith in, is not going to get your money back any faster. I tried explaining what he has on his website, as I felt it was relevant to your situation. I'm sorry that you didn't feel it was.

    Problem with B_m_ch_ps

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues receiving your tuner. He has on his website a statement saying he is behind on orders, and is not taking any new parts orders to help him catch up on the existing orders from the holidays and before. If losing new business to honor existing customers...

Another early S197 Spark plug HATE post

Absolutely brilliant! This is definitely the DIY way to do it. Thanks for doing the leg work for me. I'm neither able nor willing to pay a dealership for the tools or the labor to do this type of "simple" job for me. Glad to hear it worked well for ya. Thanks for the writeup, I'll be...

How to modify for Road Racing

The beauty that is our Mustang... So easy to modify to make it more capable than that which connects us to the pavement. I certainly love it! :D

Fuel Gauge Affected by Hard Cornering

I have also had this happen multiple times, with a restart of the car curing it. I don't know the fix for it, but would love to hear about one if anyone knows.

    Spring 2009 Build

If you won't adopt me, can you at least put my kids in your will... :) Such a beautiful car and I truly am green with envy for 90% of those mods! Keep it up.

    Hood Scoop Fixing

I lost one of my side window scoops on the A14 while on my way to have the SVA conversion done. I didn't realize it at first, until I looked over to my right to get in the right lane and realized I could see out that window! By that point the scoop was long gone back down the road. :( 3M...

    New GT500 Brembos are on...

Wow! Nice deal, and actually I was looking on american muscle, where it's 2351 with one piece rotors! <heads towards ebay now>

    New GT500 Brembos are on...

I thought you could get the GT500 brakes as a kit from FRPP... I'll have to look to see where I think I saw it.

    New GT500 Brembos are on...

Very nice, I've contemplated that package for a while now! Are those 20" rims, and were you running 17" before? Is the only advantage to the 2 piece design of those rotors, a weight savings? I would think that wouldn't be quite as strong as a one piece rotor, or is that wrong? Did you go...

    Oil filter?

I was searching Summit for which oil filters they carry for the 4.6l and I saw that they carry a reusable, washable oil filter made by Professional Products. Now I know that most folks wouldn't consider them the high end of quality for performance products, but has anyone tried this filter...

    Eibach Rear Bump Stops

Yes, I'd also like to know how these came out. I probably need something like this as I hit bumps hard on these quality roads I drive on.

Advice on my new Stang. $6k to spend!!

I second the suspension mods first, especially the watt's link, but like walter, go with the Fays2 Engineering watt's link. It's considerably less and is the original for our Stangs. Once you've tackled suspension and brakes, then I'd consider a large power adder like a blower or turbo.

    steeda adaptive tune

I want to hear more on this... One person who has it apparently praises it, while others dislike it. It sounds like it COULD be better than sliced bread...

    Stress points?

Dan, Thank you. While I do try to drive cautiously most of the time, occasionally last second maneuvers on country roads put me on the less than comfortable portions of the road. Tbrad, I hadn't considered subframe connectors on these cars, as much as I had previously on my old...

    Stress points?

I have the non-adjustable Tokicos. It seems like we're discussing whether or not I've actually "bottomed out". To me, that refers to complete collapse of the suspension, where either you've reached full spring collapse, or you've hit the bumpstops. Either way, it's not good for the car...

    Stress points?

In the front, would it be possible to completely collapse the front springs? I know in the rear you have the bump stops to help, but what does the front have, if anything, to protect it? By bottoming out, I mean that feeling of complete collapse where the only thing providing suspension for...

    Stress points?

I do bottom out and it is why I'm worried about any stress points that might not take to kindly to it. I'm running 18" GT4 wheels with 40 side wall tires and un"hacked" springs in my sig. While I'd love to not bottom out at all, it is a fact of the roads I drive on that occasionally it...
