i have a 96 cobra. the car has that ticking sound and almost sounds like a sewing machine. its pretty loud and annoying. im just wondering if its the lash adjusters i need to replace or the lifters cuz it dont do it all the time. it alwaya does it at first start-up but even after it warms up it...

thanks for the comments guys. a good buff would definitely help that paint out. but no i havent tried gettin the dents out yet but i will before it gets painted again. and btw, the hood is by far not my favorite. but it was on the car when i got it so i left it alone. it will get replaced

hey im workin on the headlights lol believe it or not those headlights are only a lil over 2 years old. its kinda ridiculous. but thanks for the comments and she does run hard when it can hook up :D

just kind of an update on my 90 gt. i recently did an engine swap and decided i would post a few pics and check my sig for complete list of mods. dont have any dyno numbers yet but hopefully i will soon. i do have some pics tho along with some others that i took after i cleaned it up...

man i really dont know exactly. i havent dyno'd yet. the people at chp said that with the trickflow topend kit i would be around 380-390 at the flywheel. my guess is 320-330ish to the wheels. somebody correct me if im wrong tho

keep in mind this track is 60ft short of an 1/8th. ran a 7.87 at 84 mph. picked up 6 tenths and 10mph over stock with bolt ons. im pretty pleased. ran this on street tires with tire pressure at 15psi. opinions welcome.

im goin with a CHP 331 shortblock with the trickflow h/c/i. compression should be right around 10.5:1 which is about all you want for the street. i wont be anywhere near your power expectations, probly around 350 to the wheels with a good tune. but its gonna be nasty on the street i promise :)
