You probably won't notice any difference in a loss of performance due to the larger rim/tire size. The 16" tires weigh just as much as the 17" tires do. The 17" rims weigh 21.5lbs each. The 17" rim tire combo rides really smooth.

LOL This old man bought a K&N drop in when I quoted $80.00 for a stock air filter,it was less than half the price. I have a Roush CAI now and the replacement filter runs about $50.00 if I ever live long enough to replace it.:D

Don't use aluminum polish on clear coated wheels.Its way to abrasive. Use a fine cut compound polish for clear coat paint. Then follow up with your favorite wax. Clear coat is paint and it oxidizes just like paint with pigment(color).

Check with American Muscle to see if they have TUV or DOT approval. AM wouldn't sell a generic product,to much liability. Those are really nice wheels.

Painting a car at Ford has to be the last priority on the list of quality control.They don't even cut and buff the clear coat. If you do try to cut/wetsand and buff it turns out a milky looking blotchy mess.I know, I tried it on a small section.

I'm sure you know how to install a shifter,just make sure you use lock tight on that 18mm bolt. I used lock tight and the bolt still came loose. I lucked out and it happened in front of the house. Happy shifting! Don't feel bad about money being tight,its tough everywhere.

That's unfounded. I never had any issues or computer faults. I had it serviced at the dealership during this period and all systems checked out good.The only issue was the speedo was off a couple of mph on the + side.
