    This is a fel pro 1262, without the sealer around the ports/water jackets. Should I apply a bead of RTV OR GASKET SEALER arount the water ports? I'm not too worried about the intake ports though. THANKS p.s. got the heads back and they look great!

    When you have a crank turned undersize, the coresponding bearings are then referred to as "undersize" as well, even though they are physicaly bigger than stock size bearings. Many people get confused and call them .010" overzize.

    Here are some more pics from pulling the head. You can see the combustion pressure leakage. What kind of gasket for this motor? FPP-1011-1? Needs to withstand 6psi boost also, or 125shot... Questions?

    I agree it's not just oil. I have only done a comp test, since the numbers were good I did not do a leakdown test. I will if I need to (it costs $60 from summit)

    Did you see the other thread? There are more pics... Pretty weird huh? There has to be some correlation between this and the #8 cylinder/plug...Maybe I'll take the accumulator out of the PCV/vac line and install it inbetween the oil filler tube and TB....It, possibaly got clogged and stopped...
