sorry not to sure about the pedastal, p.r question but i recommend comp pro magnums and if money is tight crane energizers i had the cranes on my old combo put 40k miles on it w/400 rwhp and they still looked and functioned like new when i sold them.

its very easy to check p.r. length , just buy a adjustable p.r. i got mine from summit its a trickflow brand name. then install it as if it were a regular p.r. then either loosen it or tighten it while looking at the clearance of the rocker arm to the valve spring. i had to go .5'' over stock...

yeah thats what i use at work , the strut tower setup, but its on front wheel drive 4 and 6 cylinder cars. thats why i was asking about my v8 w/ supercharger and everything else on it, i am not sure what the rating of the one i have at work is but i think it should work...
