Any tips to replacing License Tag Bulb ?

Pop the trunk, from inside the trunk turn the housing (where the wires go in), counter clockwise until it stops, about a quarter turn and pull out. You don't have to touch those screws.

Recommend Good Mechanic in Duluth, GA Area?

I've heard good things about Gunter Automotive in L'ville. Auto Repair Lawrenceville, Dacula, Georgia, GA, Automotive Repair, Tune-Ups, Oil Changes, Brake Service For A/C and radiator work, Sims Radiator in Lawrenceville is great. For engine work/superchargers/tuning, MV Performance out...

    mac catback

It's not going to transform your car into a beast, but to say not any gains...:rolleyes: Not to mention the tips on most aftermarket systems look much better than the stock tips. You can always sell the stock catback to make up some of the difference.

    mac catback

Because in most cases the aftermarket system is 2 1/2" tubing, vs. 2 1/4" stock, for improved flow.

Door Handle Insert Won't Snap Into Place

On my 04 Mach which I just bought, the pass side interior door handle insert is loose, the top tab, where the screwdriver slot is, won't snap into place. Any tips? I've tried wiggling the bottom and pushing really hard on the top part. TIA!!!

    T5 Rebuild quick ?'s

You have a point there too! :nice: :) After I finished mine I wanted to just enjoy the car for a while. But then I had a 3G alt on the bench, and wanted to realign the exhaust a little, and... and... and... Ah the joys of fox body ownership. :flag:

    T5 Rebuild quick ?'s

I have to admit that it is a cool feeling when I go down the road knowing that I had the transmission apart in my hands. :nice: Just take your time, it's easy.

    T5 Rebuild quick ?'s

I have a Pro 5.0 shifter and I don't see how anything could be better or more solid. For the rebuild I used the Hanlon Motorsports (Google it) DVD. I bought it and watched it to get an idea of what was involved and what tools you need to scrounge together. I got a Grizzly dial gauge from...

    Help me pick an exhaust

I wish I would have done that with my setup. Behind my mufflers are the u-clamps which bend the pipes so that swapping is next to impossible and in front is welded. :( I find myself wanting one exhaust for car shows and weekend cruising and another for daily commuting.

    Bad Vibration in Shifter Handle

If you know who built the engine, that would be the first place to check. If the stock crank was re-used, it's probably still the stock 50oz balancer. Has it been this way since the 306 was put in?

    Bad Vibration in Shifter Handle

It's the hockey puck shaped part between the crank pulley and the bottom front of the motor. If your car has the original one, just replace it. All the big Mustang parts places have stock replacements for $60ish all the way through $400 SFI approved precision pieces. Pick what works for you...

    Help me pick an exhaust

The problem with the Magnaflow is that it's a 3" tip and tapers down to 2.5" near the rear wheel and you can see the weld. Really looks bad. I went through this a year ago and got a Dynomax SuperTurbo catback. Pretty quiet compared to the dronemasters that were on there, but you can tell...

Who has agreed value or collector insurance on a Fox body?

I should have checked into Grundy then. Although I want to say there was a reason that they wouldn't cover my '92. Either it wasn't worth enough or was too young. Anyway, American Hobbyist won't cover you if you ever drive it to work, I know that for a fact.:notnice:

Who has agreed value or collector insurance on a Fox body?

That's not exactly true. They want you to drive your car, but for hobby use ONLY. I tried to sign up with them, but I was truthful and said I might drive it to work once a week at most in perfect weather. They turned me down for that. You have to be careful with collector insurance because...

Replaced the 17x8s with 17x9 Bullitts out back on the 88 GT

Cool. I was at the 45th Anniv show this past weekend and while looking under the hood of foxes, I realized my car doesn't have a front sway bar. Previous owner must have taken it out for the strip and I really haven't done enough corner carving to notice. Off to MPS to get one this Sat.
