Well, lets see, my brake lights stay on..always. As do my instrument cluster lights, and dome light. And now to make things worse it will not shut off...at all. Starts fine, turn the key off and it stays running. This isn't it dieseling as there is NO change in anything when I take the key out...

yea they spun in the same direction, i was gonna try to fit a socket on the bottom two today to see if i have a 9" or 8" rear, but was at my brothers all day helping him pull the engine out of his 2000 ford f150.

PO said it wasn't the original rear end. I will try putting a socket on the bottom two bolts tomorrow.

Jacked my 67 mustang up today, put it in drive blocked the passenger rear tire from moving and tried to spin the drivers side and it wouldn't move. Unblocked the tire and they both spun in unison...does this mean I have a locked rear end? Also what are the ways to tell if I have an 8" or 9"...

Actually I believe that would be the gas tank you are seeing. the classic mustangs used a "drop in" gas tank, and it doubled as a trunk floor if I remember correctly.

What would be cheaper and more practical, Buying new OEM bumpers or getting my originals Re-chromed? The back bumper has some rust and both are pitted. Thanks.

that is usually my approach.. there is a kid at my school with a 02 toyota cellica and he wanted to race me, and said that my car didn't stand a chance against him. I laughed and that was the end of it. but I don't know there is just something about this guy, I need to race him.
