Yes, that's the one I was talking about......wonder if it works OK, I know that the crush sleeve is a pain to get right the first time.

Read somewhere about a kit for swapping gears in an 8.8 which doesn't use a crush sleeve, but has shims instead......anyone familiar with these? Thanks

You can put one of the bellhousing bolts in part way and use a screwdriver to wedge between the gear and the bolt, it will prevent turning while you break the bolts loose.

You will need to drill out the rubber part with a 1/4" drill bit, then collapse the bushing shell and it will come out too. The new one needs to be drawn in; I use a threaded rod and washer with a piece of pipe larger than the bushing to draw it into. I can replace them both in about a half...
